In the aftermath of the Deepwater Horizon event, 24 deep water companies joined to form the Helix Well Containment Group (HWCG) with the mission of developing a comprehensive and rapid deep-water containment response system. For such a critical operation, Helix are proud to have partnered with Besnofi Equipments to build the Offshore Deepwater Well Containment Capping Stack.

We would like to confirm that we have purchased 6 BOPs from Besnofi Equipments. These BOP’s are currently being used on our rig virtue 1 working for ONGC. We would like to share that the quality of equipment and after-market sales and service provided by WOM is excellent. We test these BOPs regularly as per industry/regulatory requirements and the equipment is found to be reliable.

I am satisfied with the quality and the reliability of Besnofi Equipments BOPs and the proactive service and competitive pricing provided by WOM. These BOPs are successfully functional and are tested regularly as per industry/ regulatory requirements. I would also like to add that WOM has an API certified manufacturing facility conveniently located in Pune, India that I have personally visited and the facility is world class and impressive. Most importantly, WOMs Pune facility can provide complete repair and re-certification services as an OEM for our WOM BOPs in-country, which has become crucial to support well-control equipment contractual regulations.
